For those who know the in-between

Two worlds raised you.
Only one place gets both.

Bridge 2 Self is a community for Africans raised between worlds — where you stop searching for where you fit.

The reframe

You connect worlds.

You're not caught between them.
You're fluent in both.

Where you're from

you, standing right here

Where you live

The bridge isn't a place you're stuck. It's a vantage point almost nobody else has — and it's exactly what B2S is built to help you use.

What B2S actually is

Not a hashtag. A room.

01

The Table

A small, private monthly conversation with people who've lived the same in-between.

02

The Podcast

The public version of those conversations — real stories from American-raised Africans.

03

The Community

A growing group of people who get it — built with purpose and intentionality so it actually feels like belonging.

From the founder

Why I built this.

I'm Ben Arthur — a second-generation Ghanaian raised in the Seattle area, now an NFL reporter for FOX Sports based in Nashville. I grew up moving between two worlds every single day. For most of my life, I thought that meant something was missing in me.

It took years of conversations with people like us to realize the opposite is true. The in-between isn't a gap. It's a vantage point. Bridge 2 Self is the room I wish I'd had sooner — a place where nobody has to explain themselves from scratch.
